PORTLAND, OREGON
HOLLYWOOD THEATRE TO HOST "50 YEARS OF GODZILLA" FILM FESTIVAL
7 days of Godzilla films, contests, memorabilia and much, much more! Fun for the entire family!
The films to be screened include Invasion of Astro-Monsters (1965), Destroy All Monsters (1968), Godzilla vs.The Smog Monster (1971), Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995), Godzilla X Megaguirus (2000), Godzilla Mothra King Ghidorah (2003).
The Halloween weekend will include fun activities and events for fans of all ages! Test your Godzilla knowledge with the trivia contest. Come out for trick-or-treating and our Godzilla costume contest. We'll be hosting a model contest and accepting entries all week long. Kids are welcome to enter our coloring contest. There will also be a Godzilla Video Game Tournament on one of our screens, and a huge display of Godzilla memorabilia throughout the theatre.
Show your appreciation for Godzilla's fifty years of city-smashing, monster grappling fun by showing up for the giant birthday party on Wednesday, November 3rd - the "King's" 50th birthday. We'll be signing birthday cards in the lobby and sending them to Godzilla (care of Toho Studios in Japan) after the festival! For additional details visit
We hope that all fans in the Pacific Northwest will head on out to Portland over the Halloween weekend - more details will be added to the website and posted here as they become available!
