I'm ready to find out too. I voted for Death Kappa. I've heard some bad things about it, but I never actually checked it out.

There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

I've been waiting to revisit Half Human for awhile now, so this is good news to me.

But I'm concerned about the rest of you. It doesn't get much more obscure for Toho flicks.

And people already barely ever actually watch the winners and comment on them in the thread (we should all get better at this. I know I rarely participate in the threads, but when I do, I always make sure to try and talk about the film. I feel like me, Alex, and Alpha are the only ones that regularly comment when we watch the movies... yet there are at leas 12 voters every week? WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?)- Discussing the films after revisiting them is the appeal of these polls to me, but nobody ever does it. To be honest, if I saw more conversation going on in these polls, I might make it more of a priority to try and watch the films every week. Come on guys...

So will ANYBODY say anything this week?

My copy is burned from an old torrent. Can't remember where I found it.

I'm sure Alex (or someone?) can help you. If not, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

I really liked this one :D It was very much worth the wait :D

Jeez. This movie. I never really hyped it up or anything, but it was wonderful.
Masaru Sato’s score is far more effective here than in Godzilla Raids Again.
I also feel that Tsuburaya’s suit for the Abominable Snowman is the most
effective humanoid monster he ever made for Toho (sorry Gaira, you come in 2nd place).
The cast is sort of so-so here. All are doing an alright job, but the story and mood are where it excels.
Image
I love that this group gets caught up in something much bigger and the scene
when Machiko picks up the phone only to hear the attack is SUPER effective.
Jesus, I’m never creeped out by these movies, but I bet as a kid this would have
unnerved me a bit. There’s also great bits like the Snowman messing with Machiko while she’s asleep.
Image
Tsuburaya does a few interesting composite shots, some stop motion, and everything is
pretty great. The snow man has such a great sculpt, but upon closer inspection it
doesn’t hold up perfectly but well enough. I also love the plot about the awful humans
kidnapping the child Snowman in order to lure the other one. People are awful, and they
suffer the consequences. My 2nd favorite moment in this film is when Chika’s village is
attacked and is set aflame. The way the camera picks up both the Snowman’s
rampage and Chika’s distraught walk through the village is hauntingly beautiful.
I wish I had a better copy of this film. All in all, it may not be top 10, but
I’d say it’s very close to being top 10 of Honda’s films. Like…11, or something.

GREAT MOVIE! The more I think about it the more I like it. :D

And the poll is up to whoever responds about the film first. THOSE ARE MY CONDITIONS!

It has to be blurry because it's banned. Sadly, because I'd love to see a nice pristine version of this. It'd be great.
