I was going to go with an "original" theme with just picking the first movie of a series, but I had a feeling that either Godzilla:KotM or King Kong would have won. So I went with something a bit more all over the place and less predictable. I hope this isn't too campy, and if someone wants to do a Godzilla, Gamera, King Kong, Daimajin poll in the future, please do!

Gamera vs Jiger (1970) - This is one of my favorite Gamera flicks. Well, after Barugon, Gyaos and Guiron that is.

Konga (1961) - I included this because I am feeling a bit of shame for slamming it in the Gorgo and Konga thread( http://www.clubtokyo.org/discuss/viewtopic.php?t=19105 ), and the ape suit pics there cracked me up. I think I may have been unfair, so I'm giving it a chance here!

The Amazing Colossal Man (1957) - Because I was trying to think of something gigantic and American made from the 50's. I'm not sure why this came to mind.

The Mysterians (1957) - Because they want our women. Nuff said.

Dogora (1964) - This was in the poll a long while back and never quite made it. I don't think I made an effort to watch it subtitled since. So its getting another chance here too!
