Great stuff man. I agree with you a lot around here but it turns out I think I agree with your co-host a little more tho :D . (The Alien 3 love, the anti-cynicism and the Megan Fox respect)

Great stuff tho all the same except for the fact that Ep. 3 seemed prime for a refrence to Black Dynamite being a good example of a recent "Grindhose" ish film that is both works as a homage, and a roast of the genre...

Oh we must have forgotten all about Black Dynamite! I actually haven't seen it yet (i know, I know), but Trevor (my co-host) is a big fan of it.

If you have any questions, comments or anything you want to hear us talk about, don't be afraid to e-mail us! 8-)

Here's the website URL for the G-Fest episode:

http://culturewedge.com/2011/07/25/cult ... episode-5/

Also, episode 6 is now on streaming and on iTunes. A lot of Spider-Man and Captain America talk, as well as some Comic-Con coverage.

http://culturewedge.com/2011/07/30/cult ... episode-6/

Summary:
On this edition of If It Bleed, We Can Kill It, Byrd and Trev speculate on the Spider-Man reboot, review Captain America, talk the Walking Dead's personnel change, and Trev tells tales from San Diego Comic-Con... and Power Rangers.

Also, I wanna give a huge shoutout to Kyle from Kaujucast (one of my favorite podcasts) for the kind words and for plugging my show! I realize I already gave him a shout out on our Facebook, as well as in the above episode, but I was very happy for someone I admire to say such nice things and offer help/tech advice whenever I needed it. So thanks again, Kyle (and keep up the awesome work!)

Also, I haven't had time yet, but I AM going to work on inquiring about getting our shows split into separate sections on iTunes, so never fear!

Hey fools. First off, Webmaster Brad says it would require a new hosting account to split the RSS feed to get our podcast shows separated (which means more $$, which our poor asses can't do). I'll tinker with it on my own and see if there's SOME way to do something with this, but as of now, it doesn't appear to be.

The good news is that episode 7 is up! This has one of the better debates we've had on the show. I think this might be one of our best yet as far as the discussion goes.

If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It, Episode 7: The Great Cowboys & Aliens Race Debate

Image Image

"On this debate heavy edition of If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It, Byrd and Trev talk Green Lantern 2 news, praise Jim Mickle’s apocalyptic vampire movie Stake Land, argue over modern racial casting in Hollywood and its place in pre-existing franchises, and review Cowboys and Aliens. Because you demanded it, this episode has 50% more arguing than usual!"
