I still think the idea of doing this right now is absolutely insane, but that's just me. Even if I did have a better job I just could never see myself dropping $3,000+ on something like this.

Ditto...it actually kinda pisses me off how insensitive this whole thing is...

Anyway, when I go back I want to go on my own terms, not as part of some organized tour.

I'd actually like to go and hang out with some of you...do some drinking in downtown Tokyo on one of the nights and just have fun with fellow Godzilla fans...but what I envision is a little more lose and less organized and it doesn't involve J.D at all....

Seriously...he's so pretencious...for being such a big fan and all and running G-Fan you'd think he'd lower himself and actually ya know...hang out with the rest of us apes here on the forums instead of sitting high up in his tower...

The economy is so crappy that even the Japanese are hurting since the uneven trade is making their products too expensive for foreign export. JD got 60 people in 2004 with two years to do so and expects 30 with less than a year (9 months actually) for people to prepare? In this economy? When the yen-to-dollar conversion would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad? When people I know are being forced to sell collections, let alone consider traveling to Japan?

Yeah, good luck JD.
