GO FOR IT! Do NOT listen to the naysayers; they just like to "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" and will never contribute anything worthwhile, because they're too busy trying to tear down what others do.

I don't think that it is a bad idea at all. My only issue is that even though Cinci. is closer, it is still too far away to make the trip from NJ. I would love if GFest or another monster fest would rotate their locations. One on the east coast, Chicago and then west coast. I am sure that there are tons of problems with moving it around like that but I have a hard time justifying the $500 plus it would cost me in travel alone. Especially when I can stay home and use that money on eBay auctions.

I say go ahead and try it and I wish you the best luck if it does happen.

Cincinnati is so much closer than Chicago, so I'd love the opportunity to go to a Godzilla convention there. So I'd be up for it.
