JUNE 27, 2009: Due to unforseeable scheduling conflicts, the GODZILLA & THE MONSTERS OF MASS DESTRUCTION event slated for the Castro Theatre in San Francisco on August 21-23, has been postponed until further notice. When the event can be rescheduled, we will break the announcement here, and on our official website: . So, stay tuned!

We're not allowed to announce the film yet, until all of the contracts are signed... But, I can say that they are all Showa-era titlesâ€”since the show is a tribute to Mr. Nakajima.

WOW, this seams like a really cool event, wish I lived closer or had a few extra bucks for a mini vacation, because this is going to rule!

It looks like I might get to go out to San Francisco for this event! won't know for sure until a few weeks before, but it looks promising. In an effort to make this cheap, my wife & i are going to try to avoid renting a car. So we're wondering, is the Castro in a safe area? we're thinking of getting a hotel within walking distance of the theater (assuming there are any) but we don't want to be walking down the street late at night after a show in a bad part of town.

n a message from Mr. Nakajima's daughter, she said that he is sad that he won't be seeing his American fans this summer; but they are waiting to reschedule the show, and he is looking forward to meeting everyone soon in San Francisco!
