I've not been since 07. And even with the economy as crappy as it has been I have money put back for this. My girlfriend (newly introduced to the fandom) and I shall be attending.

As for staying all 3 days? I do. I come up Thursday do general things in Chicago. Friday/Saturday is the con. Sunday I do a little here and there then go home.

I'm still undecided, it depends on the guests for me.

I should go, I have a G-Pardy to defend and all but with the economic situation being what it is (both personally and nationally) and my desire to see other parts of the world, nothing's for certain.

Interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing all your past experiences and opinions on the event. Being the first G-fest that i'm attending i'm hoping that there will be some great guests this year.

True that the economy sucks right now for the whole world, including Japan, but one can hope that a cool Japanese guest will show right?

Maybe Shusuke Kaneko? Shinji Higuchi? THe godzilla Millennium suit actor? Maybe even one of those cute Japanese idols from the recent G-films?

One can only hope.....
