The grue crew of SHOCK IT TO ME! and I are proud to announce that both DS films, HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS and NIGHT OF DARK SHADOWS, will be screening one night only at this year's shocking event at the historic Castro Theatre in San Francisco -- October 17 & 18, 2008! Tim Burton will be remaking DARK SHADOWS as a major feature film starring Johnny Depp as the vampire, Barnabas Collins, so see the original films -- which are not available on DVD!

Film restorationist, Darren Gross, who has been working with Warner Brothers over the last decade to restore NIGHT OF DARK SHADOWS to its original length, will be appearing at SHOCK IT TO ME! to introduce the DS films and treat attendees with a presentation on NIGHT OF DARK SHADOWS featuring missing scenes, restored footage, and other assorted ghastly goodies!

We're proud to announce that actress Kathryn Leigh Scott, who played "Maggie Evans" in the DARK SHADOWS series, and the first feature film (HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS), will be appearing as a guest at this year's SHOCK IT TO ME! festival. More details and guests to be announced...
