I didn't take in any of the films this year, as I am on an exceedingly tight budget. I'm not so sure the change from DVD to film, or vice versa, would have bothered me much. Sitting in the theater, with that crowd who hoots and hollers over everything (my fave being the applause for maser tanks! LOL!), is what makes the experience. The theater is usually too hot, I fall asleep at some point, and the popcorn line is too long and the corn is just mediocre. It's the crowd at that point for me.
