Yeah, I just rewatched this about a week ago for the first time in about 10 years or something.

Anyway, I'm pretty much with klen on this. It really is the weakest of the trilogy, IMO. Yeah, it might not be AS much of a rehash of the others, but it just isn't as interesting. In addition to being awful actors, the kids aren't very interesting protagonists. I don't even agree that Majin's rampage is the best of the films. Its good and the effects are great, and yeah, its cool to see him stab a guy with his sword, but there's no imagery here that is as striking as the removal of the nail in the first film or the parting of the seas in the second.

I prefer the first two films by a mile, even if the second film IS too much of a rehash of the first (and honestly, so is this one).

But yes, it is a great looking film and the Mill Creek blu does it justice.
