A bit late, but I gave the honor of next week's thread to Tyler.

I actually just watched this a few weeks ago. I love this movie. It's in my top-ten of Japanese sci-fi flicks.
It's the first Toho film to really feel like what the films became, you know? Instead of a straightforward sci-fi flick is becomes this fun genre mash-up of sci-fi/fantasy/comedy/musical ect. ect. (the H-Man, with it's horror meets gangster plot, was almost there).
And despite juvenile claims that Mothra is a girl's monster and totally uncool Mothra is totally super-cool in this movie! The scenes with Mothra are wonderfully executed by Tsuburaya.
