Oh my God the complaining just makes me sick. First, I'm glad it's back at the Crowne Plaza. I like it there so I will be attending for sure. And the Hotel itself picks the dates, not G-Fest. If it's too close to Comic Con then just go to San Diego. We got it moved out of July 4th weekend, back at the Crowne and that's what the show needed. Also, G-Fest will NOT lose people to the San Diego show. Just won't happen unless someone who lives in San Diego decided to stay behind and not attend G-Fest. In that case, we are talking how many people really? Not enough to say the show is losing people. And About the Pickwick and the dvds: I know Jeff is gonna work on securing 35mm stuff by making the suggestion once again, but if the movie being played next year is a dvd and that's not good enough, do what I do. Stay behind and party. Watch one in your Hotel Room with friends instead. I don't know it's kinda simple. Do it or don't do it. Looking forward to another good time at the Crowne. Hope to see all of you guys there as well.

Wow. All this discussion about the movies already. I thought that dead horse was beaten in the G-FEST XVII thread. I don't have anything to add to the discussion there and want 35mm prints as much as everyone else. Armand is right, he is no longer involved with the convention and things are not the same as when he was. What I can do is remind you that G-FAN.com does have a contact page so anyone wishing to reach out and discuss your concerns in a professional and adult manner can certainly do so at any time.

As for the dates, we can certainly keep Comic-Con in mind for future years but I know some years ago when Comic-Con fell on the same weekend, JD was concerned it would be a problem for some of the dealers. Surprisingly, when he checked with several, he was told it wasn't. That certainly doesn't mean it is still not an issue, as you have expressed. I will certainly share your concerns with the committee for 2012 and beyond.

Reaper I'm seriously begining to think someone really fouled up your cheerios these past few days...some day I suspect you'll look back at the things you wrote here and see the same things most of us see now...

And as for Mr. RyanClark....do you just troll around, waiting for the chance to throw out your views once more on bootlegs? We've all stated our opinions before and you are in the minority it seems by far as I'll state and agree with Mouth and others that most of us don't buy bootlegs unless there's no alternative and I think most if not all of us support any legit releases as they come along...
