Just about everyone I know who I usually hung around with at G-Fest (aka the Goon Squad) had either decided not to go to this year's show or is on the fence about it. :? And these guys have never missed a show.

Eh, I don't know how this is getting worse and worse. I had the money, so I decided to go. G-Fest, is always fun to me. I love getting to be in a place so totally dedicated to the fandom, if only for one weekend. Of course, I've only been going since 04', so maybe I haven't gone to as many as to become disappointed by anything. To me, this is a pretty rad G-Fest, but again I'm incredibly kind towards anything that is this fun.

LOL! Larry, don't take ANY of the guests for granted. Now, I WISH I went to "many conventions"! LOL! G-Fest 2008 was the first I think I left San Francisco for, in a long time! I've also been attending San Diego Comic Con to sign my books, but that show is a totally different animal. I haven't guested at many in the kind of capacity I have at G-Fest in recent years, so the is going to be the first (barring Monsterpalooza 2010, which I had to cancel because of deadlines on the Gamera DVDs). So, don't cry for me, Argentina! Damon Foster will be there to pick up the slack! I'll be at the Indianapolis show promoting Godzilla, Gamera and friends to the give them their rightful due in the spotlight of Famous Monsters of Filmland Convention! Udin, I had a blast at the last two years of being back at G-Fest, I'm sure you will, too!
