I'll be attending this years G-Fest. Definitely going to hit a movie or two. Looking forward to seeing as many panels as possible and cruising through the dealers room to see what can be seen. Most of all I'm looking forward to seeing Shinji Higuchi and hearing what he has to say.

Items I'm looking for will be book related for the most part. Would like to get a copy of the Women of Toho book and this Gamera, Daimajin, Daiei book . Also any posters that might catch my eye or small capsule sized toys.

I'm out this year after attending five years in a row. Just too many personal and financial things to consider. I'll miss hanging out with my pals, meeting the guests, enjoying the costumes and artwork and homemade films and all that. I'll also miss the sights and fine food Chicago has to offer. (Alinea, folks. Expensive but worth every penny)

Hopefully the dealers room will actually have Revoltechs this year. However, as much as I try to use my credit card as little as possible, I saved a lot of money ordering from HobbyLink Japan than I would have had I saved my cash for the dealers.

As for the Pickwick screenings, I wouldn't stay away from DVD screenings, but whatever programming may be going on on Thursday has me curious.
