is he's talking about a group chat while we each watch the movie individually at the same time? or does skype support that level of video streaming as a multicast/broadcast?

I've never done it. One of my co-workers was talking about watching movies with her daughter over skype while she was away at college.

Yeah, watching movies simultaneously while we all chat in a Skype room would be fun I think. There's been a group on Facebook doing something similar for a couple years now every other Saturday.

Good news everyone! I figured out how to run a live stream on youtube where I can stream the movie on youtube while we all chat! The video footage is a little choppy but its entirely watchable! I want to try and set up a horror movie host vibe if at all possible!
