It was officially revealed a few weeks ago, but since there wasn't a thread for it yet I figured I'd go head and make one. So yeah, this is the PC/console Monsterverse game we'd heard was in the works for a while now.

"In collaboration with Legendary Entertainment, 7Levels unveils their upcoming 2.5D action-adventure indie PC and console game, KONG: SURVIVOR INSTINCT, launching later this fall.
Inspired by Legendary’s blockbuster Monsterverse franchise and set shortly after the events of 2021’s hit theatrical release, GODZILLA VS. KONG, players will navigate a shattered city through the eyes of a father desperate to find his missing daughter. The compelling narrative delivers an intense gaming experience, as you encounter survivors seeking refuge and discover Monarch technology to turn Titans’ power to your advantage while traversing a perilous maze of crumbling structures, hazardous leaks, and blazing fires.
The game combines realistic platforming and challenging combat in a quest for survival. Featuring the first on-screen appearance of the terrifying Titan, Abaddon, players will confront Kong in all his glory and encounter new and returning Titans and superspecies. Stand your ground against the Hyenas, a mercenary group led by Alan Jonah, the former eco-terrorist from GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS. Titans are always nearby, directly or indirectly impacting your gameplay.
KONG: SURVIVOR INSTINCT will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Wishlist now!"

I was already keeping my expectations low when I first heard there was a console/PC Monsterverse game being made, and now having seen the trailer I definitely think that was the right call. I'm not averse to the idea of a game set in a world of giant monsters where you play as a human, but this definitely *looks* like the first "big" game from a studio that's apparently only made mobile stuff up until now.
Also with that title I'm gonna guess they couldn't get the rights to use Godzilla in this, so I imagine he's not going to be showing up. Still, having the debut of a "new" monster with Abaddon, and by the looks of it also having Tiamat return there too, is neat. So this'll be something I'll be keeping an eye on, if not really getting myself hyped up for.
