On one hand, it would be awesome to revisit that game with all the trimmings of good remakes (improved graphics, better controls, more/different content) but at the same time I'd almost prefer that they just make KotOR 3. Although if they're going to do the Capcom thing and give us KotOR remake one year and KotOR 2 remakes (with a finished ending and all that) then sure please go for it. But I do not trust EA to create so many games that do not have some way for them to try and squeeze even more money out of the consumer or be a buggy mess (as good as Fallen Order has been received there have been quite a few bugs and glitches to that game). And they only have the license for 3 more years (it expires in 2023) so I do not trust that they'll take their time with any more Star Wars games as they'll need to shove them out to make any sort of money off the games.

Post 2023, Disney will probably take the license to someone else. A company that will make more use of the license, EA has only made 3 games over 7 years of the 10 year agreement. And one that won't start a controversy that will involve governments investigating the game for concerns of addiction and gambling elements in games targeted towards children.

Sorry for the EA rant.

TL:DR- I'm more suspcious of the final product of this rumor than I am excited for it.
