How is there not a thread about this? It looks amazing. I'm not a die hard transformers fan these days but I was pretty obsessed with them as a kid in the 80's and just the trailer made me want to go watch all the old episodes on Netflix. Ergh, nostalgia!
But yeah, if the game is half as fun as it looks... Yay!

As a fan of the original series, I think the game looks amazing, and am glad it is getting a PC version since I don't have a newer console that will play it. Younger fans however are complaining because it is based on The Original, and not something else. Truth be told, there has not been a proper video game based on the original Transformers ever released in north America. WfC & FoC don't count, because they are part of the current "Alingend" continuity, and pretty much everything else has been crappy movie tie-ins. Japan got a decent Original TF game for PS2 back in 2003 (which I happily own), but North American fans never got to play it unless you modded your system to play Japanese games. The fact that there are only 5 playable characters is a little disappointing, but I am still very much excited about this game.

The art style looks amazing, but then I actually watch the gameplay video and it looks like another generic hack and slash.
Plus, you can't play as the Decepticons, which is a deal breaker for me.
