Monster Zero x SciFi Japan - Archive Only

Well, I beat the main story line in FFXIII yesterday. It was WAY too easy if you ask me. No FF game should be done in 19 hours. Especially when it took them 3 years to make it. No wandering aimlessly, no dungeon crawling, no power leveling. It all just seemed too linear to me. FF should be a wide open world to explore. This was go here and do that. There are still plenty of things to do after the story is done but it just doesn't work for me. It should have been all incorporated into the game. I can't say too much without giving away the story so, spoiler alert:

So, Fang and Vanille don't live through the ending of the game but, magically, they are back with your party again when you play after the main story. It just ruins the whole story and continuity for me.

Your destroying my hopes for what I thought will be an amazing game, howze01.

I'm still debating on which to pick up first, GoWIII or FFXIII. I can't get both right now, so just one or the other.

Well I've gone through God of War three times so far and the only Trophy I need left in the game is beating it on Titan mode, so that is what I am currently attempting. My god, it is freaking nearly impossible to get through. I have died so many times and I'm only up to Hades.

Didn't mention this before but I did beat CoD: WaW which was awesome!!!!! Now I got "NAZI ZOMBIES", woot woot!!

Well I am now 100% with trophies in GoWIII and it is back to FFXIII tomorrow.

I have been playing a lot of MAG lately. I am getting burned out on COD so I gave this game a spin after borrowing it from a friend and I have to say I really, really like it. I was skeptical since I usually like multiplayer-only games a lot at first and then just kinda put them away after a week. Also I currently have no one to play the game with so that doesn't help matters since when I do play multiplayer in any game I like to play along-side my friends mostly. Despite all that, I find myself wanting to play it after the usual long day of doing this or that. The first few hours are hell since you have no idea what is going on and you will pretty much suck. But once you rank up a few times and get the chance to upgrade some guns, then you start getting better. But once you reach level 6 I believe, you can start playing one of the popular game modes called Acquisition, and at level 8 you finally get to play the 128 vs 128 mode called Domination. I will say this: that mode is a lot of fun. I am still figuring out how to score a lot of points in it besides killing people, but with so many people you'd think it would be chaos. It can be, but the maps are so big that everyone is spread out. There's almost never any lag, too. People don't play like it's COD or Halo or whatever. You have to take cover and stick with your squad in order to be very successful. It's pretty much what a real battle would be like, I think. The best part is when people talk, they all mostly talk about the game itself. It's a very intelligent user-base. So that's my little review. Check it out for sure if you want an alternative to COD. Just remember it's a multiplayer only game and once you choose your faction that's it. There's no going back unless you reach the level cap or start all over again. If you're interested in playing and want to play together some time I am on Valor.

I've also been playing through the Halo games with my friend. We're on 3 right now and should have that wrapped up soon. I forgot how short that game actually is. We're gonna try and play ODST together, too; but we'll see how much time we have.
