Sorta it brings some new elements to the table. If you have broadband then get either Gold Live or Silver Live(free) and download the demo.

Anyone going to get the camera for 360 in a few months?

I really hope they get the servers figured out soon because online is terriable with all this lag.

I'm suprised MS didn't delay like they did the demo.

I'd say go with the 360. To get the most out of the PS3 you will have to get the $600 package [the $500 is physically different, unlike the 360 you can't buy the cheaper version and then "upgrade" later]. And then there's the mystery of the PS3 game price - all we know right now is that the games could run anywhere from $60 [the common price for 360 games] to upwards of $100.

If you're still unsure - just keep saving up until we get more PS3 details, whatever you decide you'll at least be better informed.

Games won't hit 100. My guess is 60 dollars tops.

So far i'm not too entirely impressed with the 360. Don't get me wrong, i'm glad I have one and it can do a lot of kool things, but the games don't really impress me yet. COD2 is great though, i'll say that (although I am not looking forward to COD3). I am really dissapointed in how things are handled on LIve though. Yes, it's a good idea but I use to do any online gaming through my PC, so im not thrilled with paying a price for that. What really burns me is having to buy these map packs for COD or that new update for Ghost Reacon which is freakin $20. That's $80 to get the most of a game which is assanine. I thought a lot of things would be free, but the bottomline is, and people i've discussed this with agree, that MS is just trying to make as much money as it can. I'm glad Sony is basically doing the same thing but for free. Yes, I expect there to be some fee with downloads, possibly, but their online service will be free and that's gonna be good. Likewise, I enjoy a lot more of the series you can find on Sony's consoles. So in terms of games, the PS3 will prolly do it for me when it comes out (I wont be getting one right away. MS has shown me that you shouldn't buy a system at launch, it's risky. And I will be happy with my 360 until then, and when I have both I will of course try to play them both equally). 360 is great, but i'll prolly end up enjoying the PS3 more and that's largely based on me being a fan of the series that Sony has created and including series like DMC and MGS.

100 dollars for a game! !

well, I must agree with Brick Side here. I dont think anyone would really want to buy a 600 dollar game system if the games cost about 100 bucks each.

I guess what I really want to know is, Which will have better graphics for games, The Xbox 360 or PS3? I dont play online. (dont have time for it) I really dont care about the upgradable crap. I just want to play some games here and there. Thats the problem with game systems these days. They just throw in a bunch of stuff that I am already able to do. and then they jack up the prices. I dont care if the PS3 can play Bluray discs. I dont have any. and I dont plan on buying any in till they become very popular. and that can be years.

When I ask the age old question. Which will have better graphics? The answers I get are these.

Game store employees: No real major difference. Even less of a difference between the PS3 and Xbox 360 then there was for the PS2 and XBOX. (sounds good. but I been fooled by them before.)

Xbox lovers: Just the same graphics, nothing differnt.

Sony lovers: PS3 will have the greatist graphics ever!!! ( they always get loud when I ask them.)

My Bestfriend/a smart Sony lover: It'll just depend on the game. Xbox will have some great looking games and so will the PS3.

So I ask everyone this. Just looking at the games and their graphics which would be a better buy for me? Thanks

Honestly, I can actually see Sony forcing us to pay $80 for a game. Not $100, but still, $60 is as far as I'm willing to go unless we get some super 5 disc special editions that come with complete soundtracks and action figures.

If Microsoft is smart, They would cut the price by 100$ around PS3 release. 2 systems of near equal power, one for half the price. I wish they would cut down on the price of games as well. 60$ for 360 is realy pushing it.
