I don't play very many games and I REALLY don't play very many games when they're NEW...

...got an Xbox One for X-Mas and I've been popping back and forth between Halo: Master Chief Collection and Destiny. I'm only like 2 missions into Destiny and it's mostly fun but I wish there were a way to pause. Having an 8-month-old I play in spurts during naps and usually, when she wakes up, I pause a game, go grab her and sit her on my knee until I finish a mission. She needs a few minutes to wake up so it gives me time to finish up and save, but in Destiny, you can't pause and you get dead.

Well this f'ing sucks. The sound effects in FC4 just went out on me and no matter what I do, die, reset the game, etc, they will not come back on.

I just finished Far Cry 4 and Ubisoft has once again given me the middle finger when it comes to an ending. WTF was that? There was not even an epilogue, the credits just start rolling without any true resolution. Also, there wasn't even a trophy for getting 100% completion.

There are a lot of other issues I have with the game too. First off, it was pretty much just Far Cry 3 but with different skins and voices. Secondly, Ajay is right up there with Aiden Pearce was being one of the most bland video game protagonists ever. He had about as much personality as a slice of Dominoes Pizza. There was no development for him whatsoever and we never learned anything about what he was like before he came to Kyrat. Pagan was the best character in the game and he was barely even in the damn thing. Also, there were all of these other characters that could have been interesting had they actually done more than just give Ajay tasks such as Loginus and Willis.

The Arena was just down right annoying and the enemy AI was all over the place. Sometimes it seemed like they had the eyes of a hawk when it came to stealth and other times they were the dumbest idiots ever. The combat system was fine, but your armor seemed to be nothing more than tissue paper and the fact that you can not skip cutscenes was annoying as hell if you died during a mission and the checkpoint was before the cutscene. Finally, like Watch_Dogs, the driving physics were down right atrocious.

Oh yeah, I tried out the online multiplayer as I wanted to get the trophy for playing the games once and it is a nightmare. I couldn't even complete one game because there were constant Host Migration failures happening, which was utter bull****!!!

Overall, I give this game a 7/10 stars. If you have never played a Far Cry game before, you will probably enjoy this immensely as long as you don't want GTA quality story telling. If you have played FC3 (or any Ubisoft open world game for that matter), don't spend anything more than $30 on this game, if that, because you have already played this game. I'm going to be ebaying my copy in a few days.

Kain do you know about the "secret" endings? Look into those. Might not be any better, but they're different.

Still playing Halo MCC. I nearly got the par time (basically speed run time) on two separate missions on Legendary. I'm definitely having fun reliving the first two games as I haven't played them since college.

I wonder how I will feel when I get to 3 and 4 as I played those a LOT more just due to virtue of circumstance so the nostalgia factor may not be as high.

As usual with JRPGs I'm a bit underleveled for the final bosses on Kingdom Hearts so I'm going back and doing side stuff to try and get some better gear, spells and go up a few levels.

Over the weekend I beat Duck Tales Remastered since it's a short game and I loved the Original NES version still holds up well even with all the improvements though oddly enough I didn't care for the game when I downloaded the demo on Xbox 360. Thankfully it's free for PSN Plus members.

So I beat the story of Fantasy Life and it's DLC Origin Island. It's a very cute and funny story that basically boils down to . But I'm still trying to get God rank in all the Lives. I just took up Fishing because I hear that's a great way to make easy money.

Still want to get back into my Monster Hunting but I doubt I'll get too far before MH4U comes out next month. But I almost want to get the digital version just so I won't have to swap cartridges out. Then again, I could just get one of those multi car holder cases and call it good too.

I've actually started playing Pokemon X again (after neglecting it for months), I've got all 8 badges and I'm mostly slowing down again to trade/breed/and evolve things. I forget how much you can actually do in these games, although I really wish they'd remake Gen 1 again. I'd love to see that in the style of these new games.

Got a New 3DS XL so going to start playing Pokemon OmegaRuby on it. Then in a few weeks I'll probably pick up Zelda MM and/or Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

Got Monster Hunter 4. Started playing with the Switch Axe instead of my Dual Blade staple from MH3U. The Axe portion, I can't quite get the timing down on it yet, but the sword portion is absolutely badass.

Loving it! Although I wondering if they're going to have something like MH3's farming/sailing element to help gather items while not hunting, or venturing off into an area with no time limit to just gather and random-ish monster encounters. Because I'm a stock piler. I want to have max amount of potions and such so that if a few hunts go wrong I'm not stuck gathering for a few hours straight.

But it's sooo damn colorful and I already love the verticality of the levels and the riding mechanic WAY more than water fights (F%$# YOU LAGIACRUS!).

Haven't played online yet, going to upgrade a few times before even attempting it. I hope to find some regulars to hunt with, instead of always going with randoms. Maybe we all can eventually schedule a hunt or two?

Hope you enjoy your N3DS. I'm just going to stick with my Link Between World 3DS XL+Circle Pad Pro for now.

Spent a great deal playing OoT today. I just finished the second dungeon.

I have to admit, I really am sick of 3D as I find myself turning the 3D off except for certain moments I want to see in 3D.

Great googamooga, I forgot how hard the Halo 2 campaign is. Boss fights (especially the final one when on Legendary) make for an interesting/challenging experience as compared to the other Halo games where "boss fight" was more a collection of enemies or multiple waves. Also, I maintain that Gravemind is the most difficult mission in Halo history.

I've been popping back and forth between Halo 1 and 2, mopping up achievements, and I'm starting to get my average mission time on Legendary for most missions down to around 20 minutes...give or take ten minutes depending on the difficulty level and length of the mission (The Library on Halo 1 for example, I can't even get my time on EASY down below 19 minutes. On Legendary, I was thrilled to get 26). Gravemind (Halo 2 mission where you are plunged into a Covenant stronghold) took me TWO AND A HALF HOURS.
