Ummm.....most of the time, Nintendo's April Fools jokes turn out to be real.....so i'd be a bit cautious about putting it off....I remember back when the n64 first came out, there was an April Fool's joke of Mario, Fox, and Samus in Pokemon and destroying the other guy's pokemon completely, only to come out with "Pokemon Smash:Red and Blue versions".

...Can you guess what game premiered a few months afterwards?

As for Link w/ a gun.....He'd need a Gunblade that didn't look Final Fantasy-inspired.

When was the last time Sega released a good game? I hate to say it, but chances are that the new Nights game will be horrible.
One of my favorite Gamecube games was Skies of Arcadia Legends (which was an enhanced port of a Dreamcast game) but I don't want to see the current Sega release a sequel to the game since I know it wont be nearly as good as the original.
