It has been 100% confirmed that the demo people got for preordering R&C is going to be posted on the PSN tomorrow. There is no Lair demo coming, ever haha. The game has been out for over a month. I've actually been reading up on it a bit more and actually, my outlook on it has become a bit more positive. I've read a number of reviews that say the controls can indeed work. I would imagine that gaming mags and sites don't spend that much time on one single game as in they play it, beat it, review it and that's it if there's nothing to go back to. With this in mind, I am looking forward to playing Lair. I have Folklore up next on Gamefly but I may switch it to Lair.

Sweet about R&C demo, the only thing I don't like about demos on the PS3 is you have to download them then install them why can't it be like the 360 where you just download and you're good to go.?

Yeah, that's true. But they also download faster because of this I believe. In any case, it does only take a minute or so to install so no biggie I guess haha.

How are you enjoying the PS3, Tom?

Oh I almost forgot, if you have a PSP you can actually use that to play Lair with the remote play feature (think GBA and GC connectivity).

Oh I love my PS3 there's only one major problem I have with it and that's I'm playing it on an SDTV :P

Other than that I'm VERY glad I bought the system. Now all I need is a PSP Slim and I'll be complete but that's not to far away.

I want the damn PSP Slim too haha. Gotta play Metal Gear Portable Ops!

Are you thinking of putting Linux on your PS3? I've been considering it but am not too sure I will do it. I can't deny that it would be fun to run some emulated games on it.

If you haven't already, you should give Resistance a try... or wait until you get your new TV. It looks pretty damn good with the HDMI or DVI cable compared to component but you can tell that the developers really could have made a lot of things look better no problem (I personally think that they wanted to polish everything up, but with the lack of good launch titles Sony made them release it). That's not to say it looks bad... It actually looks quite good and looks better the further you get into the game (kind of odd, but true). Plus it's pretty fun while it lasts. I enjoyed it more than Halo 3 in terms of single player actually. Multiplayer is the fasted damn thing i've ever played haha. But no lag what so ever. Not really my cup of tea, but I had fun with it.
