Not sure if I mentioned purchasing a used DS lite.
Mostly cause I wanted to play the new Pokemon game Black 2.

I technically beat the game, but am once again trying to "catch 'Em all" by having all 649 Pokemon in the PC storage system in game.
I currently have a bit less than 100 to get.
Hopefully I will be done by the end of the week with helpful trading.

I also grabbed the LEGO Lord of the Rings game for both the Wii & DS.
As usual lots of stuff to find, lots of funny bits, and a rather large area to explore.

BTW there is a new Pokemon game series in the works for the 3DS.
Called Pokemon X & Pokemon Y.
It's fully 3D, and looks pretty cool.

Check out Pokemon's website for a video trailer.
The most interesting thing is that Japan, Europe, Australia, and North America all get the game at the same time. Sometime in October of this year! So start saving up for a 3DS (if you don't have one yet).

I started Darksiders and I'm not really getting into it; it's basically a God of War clone with clunky controls and an uninteresting story.

Might be sending this back to Gamefly soon. :?

working my Legendary run on Halo 4...Through the first 4 missions. Thus far, I found mission 3 to be the most difficult. There was a part where I must have died 45 times before finally getting lucky and using the right strategy, when you have to take out the two beam arrays, one of them is guarded by 2 Banshees and 2 Ghosts and a whole buttload of Covenant and the frustration really began to mount.

Took me 2:45 just for that one mission. The other three haven't been that bad, though there was a spot in Mission 4 where I hit a checkpoint that I didn't want to hit, way low on ammo and no good weapons around...

I know a lot of people are calling this the most difficult Halo game yet, and while there are things about it that make me agree (some of the weapons seem to be weaker, ie, the sniper rifle seems to have been de-valued, as one head shot no longer kills elites, and I shot a Knight with a fully charge rail gun in the face and he just kept going and killed me), I found Reach to be a more difficult Legendary experience.

Still, I'm having a lot of fun. Kind of re-assures me that Half-Life just didn't click with me, rather than me losing my interest in FPS games.
Gills.
