KOF XIII's gonna be a definite must-buy in my book, and I hope they make the home ports insanely awesome with those hand-drawn sprites....
Fist of the North Star on the PS2 is a good game, but besides the fact that it's an Arc Systems fighter, I believe it's seriously over-rated. I actually have it and I don't see much action like in those youtube videos - the game AI is wickedly simple and the special attacks/ finishers are far from impressive. However, I will agree - Raoh, Shin, and Kenshiro own in that game, hands-down. They're probably the only ones who have worthwhile finishers and DMs and have a chain-combo system that doesn't involve strangling the controller. At first it was a big deal, but now....hmmm.....once you realize there's nothing else to see or unlock, the game gets shelved.
If you want a quality Guilty Gear-eque arc systems game, try Sengoku Basara X(Devil Kings X) and Arc System's latest and probably final current-gen 2d releases, Blaze Blue. Guilty Gear: Vengeance or something like that is supposed to be for the newer consoles, and is said to raise the bar really high for games of its' kind.
BTW, SCIV's not bad.....could be better, though...I HOPE they wise up and release Vader already, 'cause he's not in the game as far as I can tell, in any way shape, or form.
