New Godzilla Game??

Got the game the other day but didn't get a chance to play it until yesterday it's pretty fun. Sadly I've only got past stage 9 for some reason I keep getting the To Be Continued... ending. Then again I've only played through the game twice going to play it more tonight. So far I've fought Mothra larva and adult, Hedorah, Showa MechaGodzilla, Gigan and King Ghidorah.

On my second playthrough in the second level I encountered MG Showa and he was at 100m class and I was about 60 something meters so I was dwarfed by Showa MG.

On a side note is there any way to keep the size you've obtained in multiple playthroughs? I hate starting over at 50Ms

Which one is the radiation bar again? I'm still at one bar. I did make it so it respawns faster though.

Also I've randomly triggered JJ in Stage 6 (the airport like stage during the day time) after I destroyed all the power reactors the game progressed a 100m JJ showed up. Then the same game I triggered Destoroyah in level 8 (was hard difficulty the level with the ferris wheel at dusk) right after gotengo got triggered. He was 100m and I put up a good fight but ultimatily got my ass kicked even with Gotengo helping. Then when I replayed the level a 80m class Mothra spawned.

I really wish I understood Japanese so I could figure out how to trigger all the monsters. Right now the only monsters/special military vehicles I need to fight are Biollante, Kiryu and Super X-III and techincally I have to beat Destoroyah.

Have to say, I love this game. I finally got to the final true stage and unlocked Burning Godzilla. Who is probably my favorite to play as. Shame you can't use him in Destruction mode, but I'll take using him in King of the Monsters Mode.

Earlier today I decided to take the pure hard path trying to max out destruction to increase my size to 100+m well doing this I was able to trigger the Biollante level and got to a level that triggered Super X-3 sadly my controller was about dead and plus I had to leave for a family Christmas party.

I'll be trying that out later tonight or tomorrow to see if I can trigger Kiryu and Destoroyah to beat Destoroyah.

I don't think the Destoroyah thing is 100% accurate because I got him to appear by taking the top path.

I take it that Rodan or Anguirus aren't monsters you can encounter in the game? Also, I was somewhat surprised to see the Final Wars version of Gigan when watching this video:

I wasn't so surprised on Angurius but I was pretty surprised on Rodan getting the cut. Would of thought that he was one of the favorite but I guess you can't always expect too much since this game is part of the Bandai Budget Game.

Well, my four day weekend has been spent on this game. I regret nothing, plus manage to unlock everything and got the final trophy not that long ago. Still very happy with what this game was.

I've watched some videos and where is Godzilla's life bar? Or is there not one? How does a monster defeat you?

I'm glad they included the Legend-Goji design, because I really don't care to play through as Heisei.

Although I think you probably have to unlock it, so I may have to anyway.

For those that have played does Gigan use his abdomen saw? Because I've seen multiple videos of fighting him and I have not seen him use it. I also haven't seen Dest's supposed chest beam of insta-death.

Gamestop has sent out cancellation emails for the PS3 version of the new Godzilla game and said that Namco has cancelled it. It looks like PS4 only now. Maybe they didn't have enough preorders to justify it's release?

EDIT: It turns out the PS3 version will be a digital download.

In the words of the great Professor Farnsworth, "good news, everyone!" The official Godzilla video game twitter feed just confirmed that the PS4 version will include online multiplayer, and posted a video (that I can't seem to get the url for) of various non-Godzilla monsters fighting each other to prove it!

I'd seen rumours back when the PS3 version came out in Japan that this might have been the reason why the PS4 version was taking so long to be released, but still didn't think it was very likely until now. But it's true! Huzzah!
