I'm so awesome that Sony has given me ANOTHER beta code for Home. Anyone want the code to get into the beta?

Well I've been playing Far Cry 2 on the 360 and I really have mixed feelings about it. I mean some things are cool like the friends system and safe houses but the go here do this mission stuff gets kind of old.

Not sure how they where in the PS3 version but the load times are horrendous on the 360.

I think I'm going to send this back to Gamefly rather quickly as I'm not really enjoying it.

I'm going to let my brother in law borrow it then it's going back to Gamefly Saturday. I guess I'll go back to Fallout 3 or something.

I actually met up with a friend on there a bit ago and we had fun checking it out and playing the games in the bowling alley. But I feel really bad for the people who are just now getting into the beta... All of the items in the mall now cost real money. I didn't pay anything for them, so it really sucks that Sony is now charging for it. I knew they would at some point, but it's lame that what I got for free isn't available for free to the new beta users.

By the way, where's the Little Big Planet thread? Well, anyway, now that I am past the city levels in story mode I have been getting into it more. I liked it before, but not a whole lot, but I am into it now. Plus I have found a lot of really cool levels, including this Mario one where the creator took the characters from Paper Mario and put them into their level. It looks really cool, and really adds to it. It's on my hearted levels list if you guys want to check it out.

I'm looking forward to Killzone 2, RE 5, Uncharted 2, and probably GOW 3 if it comes out. Then there's of course the usual sports games like MLB the Show and NHL '10. As for the 360, I only want Mass Effect 2 if it even comes out this year. Other then that nothing really interests me. However I did play Mario Kart today on the Wii and would love to play that some more. I just don't have a Wii haha.

Anyway, yeah, PS3 is still my choice of system here. Great for games and blu-ray, and I love that I can play downloaded movies on it! Big plus!!!!

360 had downloadable movies well before PS3 hence why Sony copied it. The only plus to Sony's service is you get Fox and Sony support.

I'm just getting dissapointed with the PS3 game wise, barely anything comes out on it that interest me.

No, no. I am not speaking of their video service, although it was obvious with their vast library of titles that it was going to happen. I still am not a fan of either video service and don't really have plans to use either of them.

I am talking about DOWNLOADED movies. As you know the PS3 supports various video types which makes it great to play anything I download, or even steam movies from some websites. Sure you can stream movies with both the PS3 and 360, but I don't like to do that in case the internet goes down for a bit or something like that.

Anyway, different strokes for different folks. Besides the games I listed, I can't even tell you what is coming out for ANY system that seems like a must-play off the top of my head for 2009. 2008 was honestly too jam packed with quality games there, especially beginning in October. But yea, I still pick PS3. I enjoy the free-online which is really nice since money is kinda tight right now, plus the movie thing, and I definitely prefer the first part Sony games (which is what 95% of all exclusives really are today anyway) over the 360 ones... which there really aren't any. Although Alan Wake looks interesting, but we'll see.
