I'll eventually get the REsistance games, but I just don't want an all out war shooter. I want a stealth one, and that is what Quantum is supposed to be.

I got my copy of R2 in today and the game is fantastic from what I played (spent time watching election coverage mostly tonight) Insomniac really did a great job.

The visuals and sound are amazing in the game. I made it to the third level and am very impressed with the game.

Home is really quite interesting. First a few negatives: Not enough customization options (which I expected since it's a beta) and the Home servers are too slow with downloads. It took me too long to download an area of Home that was just 30 MB. But other than that it's pretty cool and it's really easy to jump into games and interact with people. Haven't run into anyone using a headset yet, but hten again I don't know if they're even supported in the Beta. So far I like it and I understand the potential Sony has talked about.

Brick if you get R2 I'd play through single player first or else the 8 player Co-op might be confusing, if you'd like to do some MP between single player I'd love to try that out and finally get some use out of my headset.

Apparently it's an expansion of the single player. I think I'm on the last stretch of the single player.

I'm very impressed with the boss fights and some of the levels feel well epic. Defiently Insomniac did a better job this time around with the game. Something Bungie should take note of as I thought the Halo sequels where pretty lackluster in the campaign mode. :P

I'm still going to hold off on Far Cry 2 if I get it, it'll be on PC most likely or I might, might try it on the 360.

Just beat R2 earlier tonight and playing on Casual the default difficulty it took me 8 hrs to do so.

The ending was a cliffhanger and leaves the series open up for more sequels unless the PSP Resistance game ties up the series which I doubt it will I think it's supposed to be a stand alone title.

The game was really great, I can't wait to try out the 8 player co-op so when ever you pick up the game Brick just let me know when you're ready to go through it.

I finished Far Cry 2... I don't think i'd recommend it. Once again the missions are just too repetitive... hell, the whole game is. Suddenly towards the end the story just picks up out of nowhere, but the game turns from being open-ended to a linear shooter for the final part. It's kinda weird. There are some interesting ideas like the use of fire (which is well done), the buddy system, and the healing system, plus the environment does look great once you get out of the jungle and into the desert and plains, but that's kinda it I think. Also like I said the world just feels empty. There are not African-natives running about, and you will only find the 3 or 4 kinds of animals in the game if you veer way off the road. Other than that it's just the same 2 or 3 kinds of enemies plus the various main and minor characters of the game (including your "buddies"). Plus it is just WEIRD to see the world have so many Jeep Wranglers and Jeep Libertys!

I don't plan on trying multiplayer, but I can say that if they took the GTA 4 approach and just used the actual world as a multiplayer map... then that would be awesome. Plus this game would be much better if there was co-op.
