I noticed that "Godzilla On My Mind" gets poor reviews by most Godzilla fans but I found it to be a rather enjoyable, light read. I don't know if I'd be interested in reading this new Tsusui new book however.

I'm really interested in this,I'll read it. I like Godzilla on my mind a lot,and it had a cameo by the famous Richard Cox,as well! You can't beat that kind of star power.

I bought Godzilla On My Mind and found that it covered a lot of stuff that I had already known (especially since I had just finished Steve Ryfle's Japan's Favorite Mon-Star). I probably won't buy this one, but like neo godzilla jr suggested, I'll just look for it in the library after it comes out.

I just borrowed In Godzilla's Footsteps from the library at Sydney Uni. So far, I'm hooked. I've always wanted to sink my teeth into an academic study on Godzilla and kaiju films in general, even if I flat out disagree with the ideas expressed in the essays, or find them to be a bit far-fetched. I'll let you know what I think when I'm done.
