Stokoe's only doing the cover.

Joshua Fialkov (from Pacific Rim comic series) is writing it. Brian Churilla is handling art (?). Not familiar with him, so if anyone knows more about him, that would be great.

No plot details yet.

His stuff looks alright, I wish they'd use David Wachter though. His work in Godzilla in Hell #5 was phenomenal. Probably my favorite artwork of any IDW Godzilla series.

Some various snippets here and there from Churilla's artwork that he has been revealing himself for G:Oblivion (wow, so far this has been a *stellar* marketing campaign for this new mini on the part of IDW )

And Churilla shared some little teasers.

Looks more like a panel than a cover to be honest...

Regarding advertising, this issue has been pretty heavily displayed on comixology today and in the comixology newsletter. Normally advertising after the solicitation is over is a lost cause because it's past preorder time, but this is definitely focused on digital distribution, so it might pay off. Digital sales numbers aren't counted in the Diamond sales numbers, so no idea how well Godzilla as a franchise has been doing digitally

ok maybe I missed something.... I understand that in the post-apocalyptic Earth- Godzilla (full size I assume) was keeping all the other monsters (Rodan, Mothra etc...) *in check* by destroying them while they are small, not allowing them to grow to full size (Thus the Rodans are much like the Gayos in the Heisei Gamera trilogy) . However... King Ghidorah appeared to be full size. There seems to be some scale issues here. how a full size King Ghidorah comes through such a small portal...I'm not sure how that works. Again unless I missed something.
