Found an old trapper keeper of mine with comics and cards!

Huge nostalgia trip. I found an old trapper keeper from my childhood that had my godzilla trading cards and comics! I even kept all my old trend master trading cards! I am gonna have to peruse ebay to complete my comic collection. Bob Eggleton and Art Adams hit all those covers out of the park!


First, these trading cards came with the old Trendmasters action figures. The G-force characters were kinda lame but I had to have them all. The Anguirus and Cyber Rodan cards are my favorite. Next up some collectible trading cards I bought from a comic book shop. Its a shame I could never complete the collection.




Next up the old Dark Horse comics...







And finally, a collectible magazine detailing the release of the Lost World

I remember having some of those trading cards from that second batch you show. Wonder whatever happened to them...

I don't think I managed to save any of the cards that came with the Trendmasters toys, but I do still have the mini comic that came with the big Godzilla figure!

I think i had 9 of the Trendmaster cards definitely liked the Gvs Ghidorah one best

Awesome find! I had that exact same magazine about the making of The Lost World. I remember cutting out a lot of the double-page spreads of Stan Winston's animatronic dinosaurs and hanging them on my bedroom wall.

I had a few Trendmasters figures that came with cards too, and a few that didn't.
