They were quite good and very well written. However, Cerasini sometimes has a few bad habits....the main one being that he tends to cram as many kaiju as possible without developing them at all. Godzilla at World's end was the biggest offender in this category...monsters were quickly introduced, then completely disappeared. In fact, Godzilla himself seems to just make a cameo. Also, constantly making children the main characters of the each book became extremely annoying and repititive(this is Godzilla, not Gamera)....but perhaps Random House forced him to make this approach. The best of these books were Gvs Robot Monsters and Godzilla 2000(much better than the film of the same title).

Yeah, that really is unfortunate that Godzilla and the Lost Continent was never released and I doubt it ever will be either....Cerasini appeared to finally becoming comfortable with writing G stories........a shame really. :(

Maybe, just maybe, Godzilla and the Lost Continent will see publication if Godzilla: Final Wars proves to be popular in the U.S.

Yes, it's a long-shot, but I'd like to se that last novel released, too

i have FINALLY got a chance to read a cerasini novel. i never read them when they came out, and the local library doesn't have any copies any more. i managed to find some from another library when i was visiting a friend in another town.

i just finished godzilla 2000 and quite liked it! it was better than i had expected. i'll probably buy all of them eventually...

if there ever were another american godzilla movie, i'd want this guy to write it...
