I just read it today. I think things will get interesting in the next few issues; I am generally interested in what's going to happen next. I like Urv and Claire too. Nothing really to complain about here.

Except that Pittsburgh got smashed...

Btw, I forgot about this, but did anyone else notice the error riddles article at the end?

There was more plot (interesting ones at that) in a single issue of Godzilla Legends than in these two issues of the ongoing combined. I could deal with that if they were at least nice to look at, but everything outside of the kaiju themselves is just hideous. I understand the purpose behind setting up the characters first, but they're such boring one dimensional action movie cliches that a dozen panels in the first issue would have sufficed. Get on with the damn story already, if there is one.

Yeah, I craved some character development myself....but these guys are, as mentioned, action movie cliches. Plus, it's not like you have to develop characters before the story takes off. The problem is that the story, thus far, has just been lingering on these characters talking about what they're going to do rather than what they're going to do.

That, and I don't really care much for these characters. I think issue 3 (since at the very end of this issue things seem ready to get rolling) will be much better.

That's kind of the mentality that I have now. The characters have been established (at least, as much as they need to be, in my opinion), and the monster action has started, so I also think it'll get on track in the next issue.
