Post your comments here regarding
G&G 4. We have all seen the Paul Hanley cover a thousand times already, so here to the alternative cover:

AUGHSOGOOD. I NEED THE NEXT ISSUE NOW.
I LOVE the way Ponticelli draws Tokyo. There isn't really anything immediately recognizable about it as far as landmarks and such go but it still feels perfectly ramshackle in the same way that most of Tokyo feels. The style or architecture is spot on. The ONE complaint I have with it is that the bit with Anguirus in Shinjuku... that is, Shinjuku is a SKYSCRAPER district, not an industrial one as Ponticelli has drawn. Small beans on the whole though. LOVE THIS COMIC SO MUCH. D8

Although G&G isn't perfect, it's definitely one of the best North American G comics I've read. It really helps in washing the bad taste left in one's mouth from KOM and eases the pain of that comic's utter failure somewhat...

I think I'll be okay with Gangsters & Goliaths ending, if Godzilla: Legends can continue to deal out this level of storytelling and creativity. John Layman hasn't let me down, and fricking Titanosaurus, people! You have no idea how far my jaw dropped when I opened the comic to him fighting Kumonga. No. Idea.

yeah, I hadn't expected that. PLUS, that page is beautifully drawn!
I'm okay with this ending, especially with Legends coming up, I guess the mini-series format is probably the best plan.

Unlike Kingdom of Monsters, G&G seems to be only getting better and better! I'll probably write up something for it later, but I'll just say straight up: 5 out of 5 (A+) for Issue #4.
