September numbers are in


Godzilla Kingdom of Monsters moved up from #172 to #171 selling 11,141 copies. A drop of 1,383 copies from issue #6.

Godzilla Goliaths and Gangsters moved up from #196 to #194 selling 9,061 copies. A drop of 1,464 copies from issue #3.

October numbers

Godzilla Kingdom of Monsters dropped fom #171 to #197, selling 10,637 copies. A drop of 504 copies from issue #7.

Godzilla Goliaths and Gangsters dropped from #194 to #223, selling 8,725 copies. Thats a drop of 336 copies from issue #4.

Continuing the paradox, although KOM fell in the overall chart, it rose to #4 on IDW's list - behind only TMNT and two Star Trek comics. Gangsters & Goliaths rose too, up from #14 to #12.

@gila-monster: I wish that was the case, but because of how the industry works Issues #4 and #5 were ordered back in June and July. The fall doesn't have anything to do with the TPB, unfortunately. :?

Of course, I fully concur that Zornow as the artist would be *A MILLION TIMES BETTER* than Dos Santos' garbage. However, it still wouldn't make me buy the book again.....great artwork cannot undo a terribly flawed "story" (and I use that term loosely) that has sucked royally since issue #1. This current story arc is waste of Frank's and Zornow's time and talent (I'd rather see Zornow contribute to a good title like G&G or G:Legends). They need to wrap things up and put this awful story arc out of its misery and start anew with a fresh story with no connection whatseover to this current storyline....only then would I ever consider the possibility of buying this title again...
