I'm not sure if anyone posted this or not but IDW put up a section on their message boards for Godzilla. It's modded by Chris Mowry, one of the writers for IDW, It seems pretty cool.

The idea of a Mothra or King Ghidorah mini-series is exciting. We've always been talking about how cool it'd be for monsters to get their own films again. Maybe the comics could perhaps be the imaginative Mothra story that the Rebirth of Mothra films failed to deliver. And the thought of a story focusing on King Ghidorah destroying worlds is too cool.

What I really can't wait for, though, is to see how they plan on designing Godzilla and whether or not they'll make their own design (Marvel Godzilla) or will use a popular, already established design (Dark Horse Godzilla). I wouldn't mind either, since I'm guessing they'll all have to go through Toho anyway, but my preference is for something new. I also wonder about the new monsters.

I think IDW should focus on alot of the minor Godzilla characters and give them their chance. Characters like Baragon, Gorosaurus, Varan, Manda, ect.

I know we must have the fab three but every other character announced have been given enough treatment overseas like Bandai Creation figure releases and video game treatments. It seems Titanosaurus and Kumonga are the only 'C' list kaiju included.

Also, an apocalypse is brewing? It'd be cool if each issue deals with individual threats leading up to a Destroy All Monsters-esque invasion finale.
