I stopped by my comic shop while I was out today & they didn't have it. What they did have was a whole stack of issue 252, so I guess they're just a little behind. But I'm sure they'll get it eventually. I should probably just ask them to set aside a copy for me whenever they do get it.

On a (strange) side note... August, were you submitting articles to Famous Monsters back in the 70's? Beside issue 252, they had what looked like a stack of reprints of issue 70 from 1970... But it had an article on Destroy All Monsters by August Ragone! Was this an actual reprint, or something else? I thought maybe it was a "vintage inspired" issue with modern articles written as if they were written in the past....

(If you hadn't noticed, Famous Monsters is not the Japanese Fantasy Film Journal) â€” the dictate from the Editor and Publisher was "General Information; keep everything light and don't get too technical and boring â€” it should be fun and informative." So, that's what we gave them. The intent was to enlighten people who aren't deep into this stuff, and hopefully create a new legion of fans. That's what FM #114 did.

With that being said, I have to ask: So, you knew everything that Haruo Nakajima said in the interview before you read it, too? 8-)
