Ok, I need something to take my mind off of all this earthquake chaos...posting on here feels somewhat relaxing and soothing right now.

You know, with this cover (and the cover for issue #2), I always felt that if a *real* American Godzilla movie was ever made, it would be ideal to have him fight Rodan and Angilas in the first film (or other tooth and claw monsters like Varan or Baragon) before bringing out his more exotic arch rivals (ie King Ghidorah, Gigan, MG, Mothra, Hedorah, etc.) later on. So far, I like where this comic is heading.

*Note* By the way, I just felt another aftershock while typing this post.

ugh, it's just...the HYPER sensitivity irritates me to no end...

it's like people feel like they can't just say something and always have to qualify it by showing everyone just how sensitive and PC they are...

^Issue 4 is fantastic, but the Gangsters and Goliaths cover is by Geof Darrow: you need to see his stuff up close to appreciate it.

I got to talk to John Layman at about the Gangsters & Goliaths miniseries (that starts at about 36 minutes into the show). It sounds really cool and the best part about it was that he had almost the entire issue there at his table.

Regarding the monthly series, I found issue one to be pretty good, but somewhat lacking. I'm working on a full spoiler-inclusive review that I'll be posting on my blog, but if you want to hear my mini review, it starts at 45 minutes in.

Nice covers. Can't wait to see the King Ghidorah covers for issue 5. I have yet to see the Rodan cover (is there one) for issue 2....is there a link to it?
