I agree with cousin, if you want a really informitive book then pick up Japan's Favorite Mon-Star. As it get really in depth with the films.

While I don't have the Illustrated Encyclopedia of Godzilla, I do hear wonderful things about it.


Another book I recommend avoinding like the plague is Godzilla, King of the Movie Monsters by Robert Marzzoroa or something like that, this guy obviously has no idea what the movies are about and gives constat false information.

Anyway the OGC is a decent begginer/childrens book but defiently not the definitive Godzilla book.

While this is a good book, it doesn't go deeply into the films unlike Steven Ryfle's book or the Illustrated Encyclopedia of Godzilla. Oh and yeah, avoid the Godzilla King of the movie monsters book like the plauge.
