Come on you guys. G-Fan and G-Fest are for FUN. They are also a big part of organized Godzilla fandom. Pretty much everyone here seems like a knowledgable fan. Everyone here is automatically considered a friend and is automatically qualified to "Chip In" and submit an article to the mag. Also, there's just nothing cooler than meeting NEW fans/friends at the convention every year. I've said it before ... I have friends for life because of the magazine and the show. To me, that means that it remains important. Start ups are always brutal. And in starting this North American organized Godzilla fandom through a magazine and show has caused squabbles and in-fighting. Yes, and some people are out of it now. And yes, some folks hold pointless grudges about it to this day that is really unhealthy and bizarre. This ain't politics guys, or anything that will decide the fate of our nation or compromise national security. It's all about the Godzilla movies that we all adore and all that bickering is in the past as far as I'm concerned so it should be let go of for the sake of all the newbies that are bound to be coming along in our fandom. I stand behind my words: Want to change the course of the mag??

I'm going forward with this fandom as it's a big part of my life. I for one don't want it to turn into a negative thing. I've seen a lot of fighting and other weird sh!t since '95. Unbelievable things. But, ya know what? That's all over. Time to have fun again everybody.
