Yeah, it's pretty good. There's a bit of reconning into the first movie of a lady shaman character but it's handled well. They go for the "noble savage" route a lot, which somewhat robs the islanders of their humanity a bit imo.

Good illustrations of Kong, various dinos, and Gaw, which is probably worth a purchase by itself.

Just picked up the first four issues of the comic adaption of this book, they're a mixed bag. They follow the book to the letter, but the art seems to be getting progressively worse as the titles go along. I'll probably get the rest becasue I'm a completest, but I can't recommend them to anyone who's just a modest fan.
