Jorg Buttgereit is a fantatical Godzilla fan from Germany who directed the notorious NEKROMANTIC 1 and 2 (the films where a guy has sex with a corpse). I haven't seen either film, but I plan on checking them out in the future. A short kaiju film he directed is available as a special feature on one of the NEKROMANTIC discs.

The book originally came out in Germany in 1998 and was later revised and expanded in 2006 with over 250 pages. I haven't seen any of the European books on Japanese giant monster films, so I have no idea what it will hold. I just know I've had it on pre-order on Amazon.com for almost a year and hope it actually comes out.
