Freaking awesome!

I'd heard rumors of this a month or so ago and e-mailed them about it. I never got a reply, but I suppose it's because they had to keep it under wraps.

I can't wait for the trading cards, but what I'm really excited about is that they've also aquired "gaming rights".

Godzilla Collectible Card Game = AWESOME

I can just see the tournaments at G-Fest and the crazy Yu-Gi-Oh styled craze that will sweep the fandom.

Too true. Probably in a rush to get something out for the show.

They also had mocked up box art for the cards, which was very green and featured the popular Godzilla '54 image you see everywhere.
