Godzilla is alot of things to alot of people- hero, villain, icon, role model, cheesy special effect- Godzilla has played all these roles. But now, with his movie career behind him, the king of the monsters is seeking a new occupation... as Cupid.


That's right, for the first time (as far as I know) you can tell that special someone in your life "I love you" in the best way possible- with Godzilla Valentine's Day Cards! Thanks to the American Greetings Corp., you can buy this box of 32 cards for $1.39 at your local KMart and have a good giggle or two.

What better way is there to express your feelings then with a picture of Mechagodzilla and the text "I LIKE YOU MECHA MUCH!" sprawled across his crotch? Or the words "YOU'RE ELECTRIC!" running across Godzilla as he walks into the power lines ala Mothra vs Godzilla?

But the best, by far, is the sticker sheet that comes with the cards. 30+ stickers that range anywhere from pictures of Gigan and Ghidorah, to words like "SKREUNK" and "SKEEEOUNG!!" (!?!). What could be better? Nothing, that's what!

Sure, they're intended for five year olds, but if you really need a giggle, you might consider picking them up, or at least looking at them.

i haven't been able to find them either. i wonder if they're available in canada... i checked a couple of places that carried a ton of american greetings cards. saw lots of hello kitty and spider-man... no godzilla though

I will have to check out my nearest K mart. I tried Walmart, Target and Tops and found a couple of the Birthday cards but no valentines. I hope I find them. Tats the kind of goofy stuff I like to collect for Star Wars, and now Godzilla.

I went back to the Meijer where I got mine to grab some boxes for
those of you who could not find any. THEY WERE ALL GONE!!
I guess the kiddies liked them as much as I do!
