I found the Crumble Zone online last week (already sold out) and I got the four figures from Bandai Creation on ebay for 20.00, good deal I thought. Just had put them off for a while.

Another couple of purchases this week, both from Clawmark Toys (). I picked up the new M1 GMK Ghidorah

and the Bandai Godzilla High Grade #8 set.

First, I'll say I'm real impressed with the High Grade set. The only other one I have is HG9 and these sculpts are pretty impressive. The King Ghidorah is probably my favorite. Though this also marks the first figures I have representing Megalon and Jet Jaguar.

As for the M1 GMK Ghidorah, I've got mixed feelings. The sculpt is great -- IMO probably M1s best Godzilla-related sculpt, second only to Megaguiras. But, as my wife said when she saw it, "He looks like he's made out of Dijon mustard!" I don't like the color of the vinyl. It's too flat. Arguably, it might have been too much if the vinyl was shiny, but Ghidorah isn't a flat yellow/brown like that. Thus the silvery highlights, I guess. Other than that, the paint job is well done. It just suffers from the background color it sits on.

BTW, I now have all four of the GMK kaiju that M1 did. To everyone I say, if you plan on getting one of these, get them all. It's so cool to see them all together. I think the style of the figures is remarkably consistent when viewed as a whole. I will buy M1s until I die. :evil:

Just opened a box of goodies from Clawmark (thank God for bartering,)

(crystal version)

And some odds & Ends including the Hamaturo GMMG mothra larva keyring, a pack of the Sega Z cards, mini maser tank from GXMG, GMMG chirashi, and the GMMG theater poster. The theater poster is sadly the worst Godzilla poster I have seen

This will be the first one I won't display, but either way, its a good day.
