I picked up a dvd of the series and I was surprised how dark it was. It had a very Lovecraftian feel to it. Kinda Cthulhu by way of Hasbro!

You should get the other DVD as well...they're both awesome! Again...I wish they would release the entire series!
The toy I wanted most was Tendril (Decompose wasn't as cool as he was in the toon)...but I never got him. He goes into the magic list of toys I wanted as a child but never got...like the AT-AT and the Kracken monster figure.

The dvds were great! Watching them brought all those memories back - it was like I was sitting in front of the tv back in '88 again, eating my cereal. 
I used to get up at 6 in the morning to watch the show. Nowadays, cartoons aren't worth getting up for anymore, IMO..
