Hi!

I am not what you would call a vinyl junky but I do own a few Marmits, Marusan, and Bandai figures. Back around FINAL WARS, I collected complete sets of Bullmark Iwakura mini figures. I absolutely love these! It was a nice way to collect all those vintage figures in a manageable and affordable way. I display them in little plexi glass compartment boxes I bought at the Muji store in NYC.

Does anyone have any intel on similar or future releases?

Was there ever a comparable set of miniUltra Q figures, for example?

Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated!

Iwakura got out of the retail release figure business a long time ago, focusing their efforts as CAST on the occasional polystone minifigure and "ornament" release instead, so there haven't been any mini Bullmark releases by them since outside of some bagged redecos of the existing ones that I think they released at Wonder Festival or other events. There's been no hints of anyone else working on miniature Bullmark vinyls either.

Bandai has done some Ultra Q and Ultraman Bullmark stuff ages ago. There was a boxset of 25 very tiny (like 2" tall) , and their Soul of Bullmark line, done as gashapon and blind-boxed figures that are similar in scale to the Iwakura stuff. and get more details about the line in the rest of the thread.

On another note, I will be in Tokyo for 5 days and Kyoto for 5 days in late May - early June 2015. Any advice of where to toy shop given my mini Bullmark tastes? Thanks in advance for advice you may have!

On a related note, I am looking for a Bullmark Iwakura Gezora. If anyone has any leads for me, I would be most appreciative! Thanks in advance...
