Here's the overall view (minus Megaguirus) since i've never seen a picture on line of these together.

I plan to take time to photograph each one (front and back, with and without the case) since its kind of hard to find information on these online. I figure i'll document them in this thread. If anyone has any additional information or if i post anything inaccurate, let me know, I am interested since all i have been able to gather has been "babelfished" from various Japanese sites and auctions

There's also one for Yamato Takeru and the 60th Anniversary of Godzilla. I would also expect one for the new film, though I can't confirm that at this time.

! I have not seen one for the 60th Anniversary! I need that! (and i'm crossing my fingers for one for G'2014).. i also never even thought to look for Yamato.

So i picked up the 60th and the Megaguirus and took a lot of pictures... I got a bead on the Yamato Takeru, and it is pretty cool looking so i'll probably buy that one as well. Anyway, i'll probably do one post per medallion since i have 4 pictures for each and that will add up to over 100 pictures.

Please feel free to correct any inaccuracies in my descriptions, i've pooled as much info as i can find for these, which isnt much so some of it may be conjecture

Film: Godzilla vs Mothra
Year: 1992
Description: This is probably the most simple medallion I have (and as far as i can tell it is the earliest one made). The front of the coin is a large open mouth G'92 and the reverse simply says "© Toho Toho Eiga" centered on the coin. The coin is gold colored and fits snugly in foam. The plastic case has intentionally distressed "Godzilla vs Mothra" in gold followed by the release date of 12/12/92 and © Toho Toho Eiga

Film: Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II
Year: 1993
Description: The front of the coin has the UNGCC (United Nations Godzilla Countermeasure Center) logo. The reverse side says "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla" in Japanese, and in English it states "HERE COMES THAT FRIGHTFUL MONSTER AGAIN!" followed by © 1993 Toho Toho Eiga. The front of the case says "40th anniversary" followed 12/11/1993 in a silver blue above the coin. On the bottom it says © 1993 Toho Toho Eiga 600 Movic.

Film: Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla
Year: 1994
Description: The front of the coin features a G'94 roaring with the globe as his backdrop. He is standing in front of the Atlantic with North America to his back and Africa to his front. The flipside of the coins says "Godzilla vs SpaceGodzillla" in Japanese with ornamental dots around the outer circumferance. It also has the copyright © 1994 Toho Toho Eiga. The case itself has a matte white, which says "Godzilla vs SpaceGodzillla" in Japanese on top and © 1994 Toho Toho Eiga 600 along the bottom.

Film: Godzilla vs Destoroyah
Year: 1995
Description: The front of the coin features a G'95 roaring with no real indication of Burning or Meltdown. The background is starburst and the coin is gold like the ones before it. The flipside of the coins says "Godzilla vs Destoroyah" in Japanese. It also has the copyright © 1995 Toho Toho Eiga. The case itself has a matte white, which says "Godzilla vs Destoroyah" in Japanese on top and © 1995 Toho Toho Eiga 600 along the bottom.

Film: Godzilla 1998
Year: 1998
Description: This coin is a pewter finish instead of the gold. The front of the coin features a G'98 bust with no background. The flipside of the coins says "Godzilla" and features a logo which has two silohettes making a ring with 'G' inside. It also has the Trademark and copyright © 1998 Toho. The case itself has green text and border, which says "Godzilla" on top and copyright information along the bottom. It also states that "Godzilla and the Character Design are trademarked"
