So 2014 should be a big year for G-Fans with the new movie coming out, hopefully it will spark a revival in all things Godzilla, past and present. Anyway, Collectors:
- What new figures do you want to pick up in 2014?
- What old figures do you want to pick up in 2014?
- What figures do you hope are announced/released in 2014?

My toy buying has become really selective, but I'll say that I'll certainly pick up at least one figure of Legendgoji... possibly two.
... also need a Gipsy Danger.

they will be showing some classic Godzilla oriented figures at Toy Fair this month, so I am sure that will stir the pot for the fandom. It is unknown if they are going to show anything regarding the new film at TF.

The wishlist works! I was able to cross off another of the Bandai Museum Yog Trio thanks to a tip from at543. I would have missed it based on the lack of keywords the seller used.. in fact since the last one of these i saw on ebay went for $300+ i am going to guess a lot of people missed it since i won it for $92 shipped

I'll try and post pictures in the New Purchases thread tonite.

Also, does anybody know of any decent, affordable ($50-ish) Cthulhu figures? I REALLY want one.

With our first baby due very soon I have a feeling collecting will slow WAAAYYYYY down for me this year, but that's ok. My primary objective this year is going to be getting all the kaiju blurays I can afford.
As for new figures, I'm very interested in the announced NECA Godzilla 84 and if it turns out well that will probably be my number one for the year. I might get something LegendGoji related if the film turns out as good as it's looking and warms me up to the design. As it is I think it's ok but I don't like it enough to make getting a figure a priority.
For old figures I'd love to pick up a full set of M1GO GMK monsters or maybe a Marmit MH GMK goji but I seriously doubt that'll happen this year. I'm also interested in the recent Diamond re-release of the X-Plus GMK Godzilla but I may've missed the boat on that and I'm not about to pay the ridiculous aftermarket prices - the regular retail price is too high as it is IMO. Not sure why I'm on such a GMK kick with my figure wish list. Just really like some of the figures that have been produced from that movie.
I don't know what I would wish to be announced that hasn't been. I've kinda got all of my personal "holy grail" figures that I can think of.

^The M1 GMK Baragon is worth every penny. And I do prefer the Marmit MH GMK Godzilla to the M1 release (same with the G'99 releases) but they are both pretty fantastic
RE: at543 You might have some competition on a couple of those

Am I dreaming but I would love Bandai to release a 6" Megalon to go against the Jet Jaguar.
A 6" Varan or Baragon would be most welcome too!

i like it, especially at the 6" scale. (your mileage may vary on the paint scheme). i prefer it to the Bandai 8" Megalon, because of i like the more dynamic sculpt, but like all Y-MSF figures, it does feel a bit "cheaper" than the Bandais since the vinyl is bit softer and a bit thinner.

Looking for a Bandai 6" Birdon. Anybody that can hook me up, I'd be extremely grateful. This figure to be exact.

I wanted to compile a real list, just to keep track of everything I'm hunting down this year. As I said with Birdon above, anybody that thinks they can help out with some of the more "elusive" figures, it'd be much appreciated.
